Semi Truck accident in Washington County, Kansas Results in Fatality

A tragic truck accident on U36 in Washington County, Kansas, on October 1, 2013, resulted in the death of 65 year old Larry Mueller. Mr. Mueller was traveling eastbound on U36 when a 1998 Kenworth semi-truck attempted to pass. Due to traffic, the semi could not complete its pass and merged into Mr. Mueller's lane of traffic, striking the Mr. Mueller's vehicle. The Mueller vehicle left the roadway and came to rest in a ditch along the south side of the highway.

Mr. Mueller died as a result of injuries received in the accident. The semi driver, Sheldon Pfizenmaier, was not injured.
