A Jackson County minor has reached a $400,000.00 settlement after being accidentally shot in the right eye with a pellet gun in the basement of a Jackson County home on May 2, 2010.

As a result of the accidental shooting, the plaintiff has lost all sight in his right eye, and has undergone numerous surgical procedures in an effort to save the eye from having to be removed.

The case was settled prior to filing suit.
