At approximately 1:45 p.m., on October 3, 2013, 79 year old James Echols, and 65 year old Patricia Kobashigawa, were traveling northbound on Missouri 39, in Stone County, Missouri, when a vehicle operated by Quarlene House, traveling southbound on Missouri 39, crossed the centerline and struck the vehicle operated by Mr. Echols head on.
Mr. Echols and Ms. Kobashigawa were pronounced dead at the scene of the
car accident. Ms. House was seriously injured.
