Biography: James Montee was born in 1958 in Kansas City, Missouri. James focuses his practice in the areas of car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, personal injury, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation and employment discrimination. James was named Missouri's Winningest Lawyer, in the January 28, 2013 edition of the Missouri Lawyer's Weekly.
After graduating law school in 1983, James was a law clerk for the Honorable Judge William H. Billings, Missouri Supreme Court, from 1983 to 1984. In 1996 James founded the Montee Law Firm, P.C. The firm is dedicated to representing injured people, not insurance companies. Since 1996, the firm has recovered $200 million in verdicts and settlements for injured people in Missouri, Kansas and nationwide.
